William Vaughan Company (WVC) was started
March 1, 1959 under the firm name of Vaughan
& Huff. From the very beginning, the firm
had a reputation for quality work that
endures to the current day and has been
foundational to the continued growth of the
firm. The firm has evolved into one of the
largest locally owned CPA firms in
Northwestern Ohio.
William Vaughan Company received national
recognition in 2010 from the American
Institute of Certified Public Accountants
(AICPA) as an official member of the
esteemed G400 group.
Also in 2010, WVC was honored in being named
one of the Best Accounting Firms for Women
by The American Society of Women
Accountants, and in 2008, the firm was
awarded one of the 60 Best Accounting Firms
to Work for in the nation by Accounting
Today.

employee has and relies upon imaging,
word-processing, Internet, CCH Tax and
Accounting products, IBIS World, BNA and RIA
Checkpoint research, database, spreadsheet
and graphics capabilities to enhance service
to our clients. Our use of cloud computing
and Thomson Reuters’ document management
software allows our staff to access client
files and tax returns without being tied to
their desks and to the office. We can
publish completed returns and accompanying
workpapers and other files to our protected
Portal to be accessed by our clients
anywhere in the country, and our clients
can, in return, upload their documents to
use in a manner more secure than emailing,
faxing or mailing.
